Ballet training for everyone…

Our Mission

The Dance Training Center / SF offers a complete curriculum of quality ballet instruction for both children and adults.

We provide a much needed alternative to more competitive ballet schools.  Students of all skill and interest levels, along with students with physical disabilities, are welcomed into our rigorous yet friendly and supportive dance community.

Our curriculum infuses the science of good alignment with the creative artistry of performance.  Our highly qualified and dedicated faculty all have professional dance experience.  Together, they offer an ideal combination of youth and experience, and are highly skilled in helping each student develop according to their unique interests and abilities.

Our studio space at 382 21st Avenue (at Geary) opened in May 2021.  Our class sizes are purposefully limited in order to allow for specialized, individual attention.

Whether a student is working towards a professional career, looking to dance as part of their college career, working on specific technical goals, recovering from injury, or simply wants to experience the joys of dance, we offer every student the opportunity to receive direct, individual instruction from some of the Bay Area's finest teachers.
